Visit A Rehearsal
Guests are always welcome at our rehearsals. Rehearsals are Monday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm.
As we occasionally sing out in the community or change a practice date, please be sure to let us know you are coming. Email us at sing@mistyrivermusicmakers.org or text/call us at 630-492-0805 to let us know your plans to visit.

When You Visit:
You will be invited to join us for vocal warm-ups, and you will be given a guest book so that you can follow along (and sing!) with each song that we have scheduled for the evening. Our rehearsals are well-planned – you’ll learn a lot and have fun too!
Want To Become a Member?
We ask that you plan to join us for at least three rehearsals before auditioning. The process is quite simple – we ask that you sing one song from our repertoire, Heart of My Heart also known as The Story of the Rose. You can find the sheet music {here} , and we can also make learning tracks available as well. You’ll also be provided with plenty of opportunities to practice both with the Chorus and in a smaller quartet. Once you decide you are ready, you’ll sing for our director in a private audition with our music team as part of a quartet. We promise an experience that is low-key with minimal pressure!
Membership Costs
Misty members do pay dues every quarter. Additionally, there may be extra expenses for performance wear. We are happy to share details – just ask!
