Misty River Music Makers is more than just an a cappella ensemble – it’s a family! With members of all ages and stages of life – we share a common love of friendship, learning great music, and producing beautiful harmonies.
Don’t read music? That’s not a problem at all. Many of our members are comfortable learning by ear. Our practices are well structured, often with small group sessions and access to learning tracks for assistance.
If you like to sing, consider joining a few rehearsals to hear us in action. Interested in auditioning? Check out the Getting Started section for insight into the process and audition music. Our hope is you find the process welcoming and supportive. You can attend as many practices as you’d like, and remember there is no expectation to sight-read music. We are happy to help you.

When?
We practice on Mondays from 7-9:00 pm and guests are always welcome!
Be sure to contact us at sing@mistyrivermusicmakers.org or call/text us at 630-492-0805 to be sure we are not out singing at a performance. We wouldn’t want to miss you.
Where?
We practice at Start Something Studio, 12 S Van Buren St., Batavia, IL.
Start Something Studio is located next to Berkeley’s Finer Foods grocery store, just east of downtown Batavia. Parking is available in front of the building.
Why?
There are so many reasons to join! Singing is an aerobic activity that stimulates your body and mind. Also, Misty never misses an opportunity to laugh together! Come check out this wonderful group of women, learn some amazing songs, and get a chance to perform and strut your stuff!
