Area 4 Contest coming soon to St. Charles The Misty RIver Music Makers are getting geared up for Area 4 Contest coming in June to St. Charles, Ill. The annual Contest and Convention is being held at the Hilton Garden Inn, from June 7-10. The public is welcome to view the contests, which will include approximately 14 quartets and 7 choruses being judged in areas of Music, presentation, of course, singing. Misty River will have 22 women compete for chorus contest and 8 women for quartet contest. We practice from 700pm to 930pm at our new rehearsal location: the Montessori Academy in Batavia. It is on River Street, .6 miles south of Wilson St., and just north of the Batavia VFW. Call Fran at 630-820-1292 and let her know you'd like to join us and be prepared for the best night of singing and friendship you've had in a long time!
